Though not officially announced, it's well known that newly formed 2K Marin will be designing the follow-up to 2007 shooter hit BioShock. It's currently rumored to be an Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii title. Bioshock 2 is expected to be released before the 2009 holiday season. The Bioshock world incorporates elements found in role-playing and survival horror games, and is described by the developers and creator Ken Levine as a "spiritual successor" to their previous titles in the System Shock series.
