E for All Guest Blogger: Scot Rubin (All Games Network)

E For All is just a week away and I am so excited about what weve got going on at our booth. I've seen so many great gamers compete in various ways over the past 12 years. I watched Dennis "Thresh" Fong win John Carmack's Ferrari, I've seen Kornelia, one of the top female gamers take on a slew of guys without losing a match, and I've seen countless professional gaming leagues come and go since the "Professional Gamers League" back in 1998. Now, I'm working with CGS, the Championship Gaming Series and we're going to be unveiling H2i at E For All. This little PC application tests a gamers hand eye coordination in a variety of mini games. After completing the test, you get an overall score. Fatal1ty got one of the highest scores, and our CGS pros have all done well.

But I'm most interested in seeing how gamers like Steve Wiebe from the King of Kong, and Todd Rogers the "King of Videogames" compare to the current pros. Then, I look forward to seeing how the well the average gamer scores. The thought is that you might have what it takes to be a pro gamer and not even know it. We'll be giving away all kinds of prizes for gamers who score well on the test. The high score each day will get a big prize and the best score for the weekend will get the grand prize. More details on that, as well as the live webcasts we'll be doing from the show floor in my next blog entry. I hope you'll come by our Meet, Greet, and Beat The Champs booth at E For All where Walter Day, the official referee for the Guinness Book of World Records Gamer Edition, will be on hand to verify all record attempts and hand out copies of the 2008 Guinness Book for gamers.
